Snorkeling with Orcas in Norway
Every year between early November and late January, orcas migrate along the coast of Norway. These orcas follow the pegs that are currently moving. Operating from Skjervøy, you can join us in search of orcas and the northern lights.
Norway is a beautiful country with magnificent nature. Rugged, pristine and pure. Beautiful landscapes, well-developed society and friendly people. The capital Oslo is by the sea and the country itself is awash in fjords. But Norway is also huge! As a result, you can be in Norway but above the Arctic Circle. For snorkeling, of course, this also provides great opportunities.
Snorkeling in Norway with Orcas and whales.
Of course, Norway is known for its fjords. But up in Norway, things get really special. Yes, it is cold there. But you can dress for that. Because once you accept that, you can start enjoying.
Arjan Gunnink, founder of EWDR, was there himself in 2018 and loved it
Sleep on a small island just off the coast at Skorvoj. Here is a large traditional house made of wood with a sauna and hot tub. You share the facilities (shower and toilet) with the group. In the evening, delicious food is cooked for you and you eat in a cozy atmosphere. Don’t expect too much luxury, but mostly warmth and an amazing experience of being (almost) alone one with nature. Marvel at the Northern Lights, an impressive natural spectacle. From the house we walk to the pier in the morning to get on the speedboat. And then the adventure begins!!!
Snorkeling in Norway with orcas and whales is very special. Therefore, be sure to ask us about the possibilities and a customized quote.
Please note that above the Arctic Circle, the number of hours of daylight depends greatly on the season. During the expedition it will be light for only a few hours, keep that in mind.
