Day 1, 2 and 3 | Arrival in Manila and Romblon - Start of your diving adventure
Your diving vacation to the Philippines begins with an intercontinental flight from Europe to Manila.
Depending on your chosen itinerary, the trip takes about 13 to 17 hours.
After this long flight, a comfortable shuttle awaits to take you to a nearby hotel so you can take a break.
A good night’s sleep will ensure that you start your adventure rested and full of energy.
Arrival at Romblon – Welcome to the diving paradise
Early in the morning you will take the domestic flight to Tablas Airport on the island of Romblon.
This flight only goes three times a week, which means today is the day your adventure really starts.
After a short flight of about an hour, the team at Sunset Cove Beach Dive Resort is already waiting for you.
From Tablas, follow a scenic transfer to the San Augustin pier, where a private boat is waiting to take you to Alad Island.
During the boat ride you will enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding islands.
After 45 to 60 minutes you will arrive at the pristine white sandy beach of Alad Island, ready for an unforgettable diving trip.
Day 4 to 6 | Discover diving at Romblon
Day 4: First dives around Alad Island – Discover macro life
The real diving experience begins today.
Today go on a day trip with three dives along some of the most beautiful dive sites around Alad Island.
The morning begins with a dive at The Garden, a colorful spot full of lush coral reefs and tropical fish.
In the afternoon you will explore The Wall with 2 dives, an impressive drop-off where you may encounter turtles and reef sharks.
After this intensive day of diving you will return to the resort, where you can relax and enjoy the sunset.
Day 5: Explore more dive sites on Alad Island
Today more spectacular dive sites are on the program.
You’ll dive at Coral Garden, famous for its vibrant coral reefs and rich marine life, and Alad Reef, where schools of fish and curious sea turtles welcome you.
In the evening, you can do a night dive, where you will discover a whole new world with nocturnal sea creatures such as squid and scorpion fish.
In total you will make 3 dives this day.

Day 6: Black Water Diving – A fascinating night diving adventure
After 2 dives during the day, in the evening is the absolute highlight of this day.
You will make a unique black water dive Romblon which takes place at about 8 pm.
During this dive you are in open water, where special lighting attracts plankton and rare nocturnal marine animals.
This is a special opportunity to see bioluminescent organisms and bizarre underwater creatures, such as jellyfish and larvae.
The dive takes place in the shallower waters around Romblon, making it an accessible but breathtaking experience.
Day 7 | Day excursion to Romblon - Explore the wonders of the island
Today it is time to explore above water.
You have a choice of excursions.
Visit for example the iconic Romblon Windmills Take a refreshing dip in Lipton Falls or discover the local marble industry on a tour of the marble quarries.
End the day with drinks at BonBon Beach, where you can enjoy the spectacular sunset.
Day 8, 9 and 10 | the hidden gems of Romblon
Day 8: Diving around Cobrador Island – The hidden gems of the Philippines
Today you will dive 3 times around pristine Cobrador Island, where sites such as Cobrador Reef offer a wealth of marine life.
Be enchanted by the rich biodiversity, with colorful corals, reef fish and maybe even sea turtles.

Day 9: Diving at Logbon – Spectacular underwater landscapes

At Logbon Point you will encounter spectacular corals and be surrounded by schools of parrotfish and lionfish.
Each dive point offers something unique, from fascinating rock formations to a wealth of marine biodiversity.

Day 10: The famous Blue Hole of Romblon

5 to 20 minutes boat ride.
