Graduation: Multilingual Social Media and Newsletter Marketing Integration

About Us:
We are EWDR, a dive travel agency, based in Utrecht, specializing in selling dive trips. We strongly believe in the power of digital marketing and customer relationship management to propel our business to new heights. As part of our growing international strategy, we aim to increase our online presence and expand our customer base. Our website is now in 4 languages and we receive quote requests all over the world. However, the social media and newsletter marketing is still limited to the Dutch language, obviously we want to expand this internationally as well.
The Assignment:
The assignment/internship aims to set up our newsletter marketing and social media activities so that we can effectively cut loose in 4 languages in terms of marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategy for multilingual social media campaigns.
- Target audience mapping & how we reach them
- 4 Instagram accounts, 4 Facebook accounts, 4 YouTubes? Or…. ?
- Integrate multilingual content into our newsletters and social media channels.
- Set up channels, prepare posts etc….
- Work out and set up processes clearly
- Implement and integrate the CRM system (Zoho) with our digital marketing activities.
- How is it immediately clear in what language we communicate with the customer? How do we keep the languages apart?
- How do we get an English customer to land on the English newsletter etc….
- Measure and analyze the results of implemented strategies.
- Develop a social media/newsletter dashboard that tracks results by language
- Adjust where necessary

Good to know: This assignment/internship offers the opportunity to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the world of multilingual digital marketing and CRM integration. We welcome students from a variety of backgrounds and fields of study to apply. Given the required independence of the assignment, this internship is only suitable for a4th year student. Of course we offer guidance during the assignment, but we are also looking for your own input and advice. By the way, you do not need to have a talent for languages (you may of course), within our company there are colleagues who are fluent in the languages in which we operate (NL, EN, DE & FR) and they will support you in this area. And don’t know much about travel and/or diving? No problem either, the focus here is digital marketing & communications process design.
ON HOLD: Travel Planner
24 hours per week, Utrecht
EWDR B.V. (EigenWijze DuikReizen) is looking for a new enthusiastic colleague who can put together custom trips for our customers so they can go on a carefree vacation all over the world. Not only booking flights, hotels & resorts and rental cars, but also contacts with diving schools, resorts and agents are part of the daily work. You are accurate, consider the specific needs of the client and traveler and always strive to provide that little bit of extra service. In this position you will work partly from home and partly from our office in Utrecht with a small team. A good workplace at home and a high degree of ability to work independently is important for this position.
What do we ask of you?
- You are enthusiastic about EWDR’s destinations and have an affinity for diving
- You are available for a minimum of 24 hours per week and can easily reach Utrecht
- You can work well independently, and enjoy taking initiative to tackle something
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch language and a good command of the English language. More languages are a plus.
- You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and can easily deal with new computer programs.
- Experience organizing trips is a plus
- Experience booking airline tickets through GDS is a preferred
- Experience working for a tour operator is a plus, as well as experience with the reservation system ‘Grip

EWDR B.V. (EigenWijze DuikReizen) is looking for a new enthusiastic intern. Internships can be in the areas of (digital) marketing, tourism, media, communications & ICT. We guide you in a personal way and let you participate as much as possible in all facets of the company.

- Your internship period is minimum 5 months
- You can work well independently, and enjoy taking initiative to tackle something
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch language
- You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office
