Scuba Diving on the North Pole
Dive into the world of polar bears and ice bergs
It doesn’t matter how many dives you have, if you haven’t done ice diving – you’re missing out! Take a dive into the cold and clear waters of the North Pole and see the world like you’ve never seen it before.
Not our first time…
Many times EWDR has taken groups along on expeditions to the North Pole and the cold Arctic waters (ps. we also offer Antarctic trips – for those interested in the South). The rocky landscape below the surface is covered with a thick chalklayer and sea weed. Creating a surreal underwater world. Don’t expect too many fish. But do expect crabs, shrimps, seafish and big dahlia’s in several colours. You can even dive with drift ice, but you’ll have to keep an eye on the border of the ice – so you can always surface.
