Diving in the Galapagos<\/h3>

The Tiburon Explorer’s 8-day itinerary begins at Wolf and Darwin, known for its abundance of hammerhead sharks, whale sharks and eagle rays<\/strong>. Then the trip continues to Cabo Douglas, where you can spot underwater marine iguanas<\/strong>, and Punta Vicente Roca, where you have a chance of seeing Mola Molas<\/strong>. <\/p>

Staying on the Tiburon Explorer<\/h3>

The new, elegant Tiburon Explorer can accommodate 16 guests in 9 comfortable<\/strong>, air-conditioned cabins<\/strong> with private bathrooms and ocean views<\/strong>. On the upper deck, there are cabins with queen-size beds<\/strong>; the other cabins have twin beds that can be converted into a queen-size bed. On board, you\u2019ll find a sun deck with a jacuzzi<\/strong>, a lounge with a dining area and bar, and a spacious dive deck with all the necessary facilities. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Best travel time for diving in <\/b>the Galapagos Islands<\/h5>

January to May is the “warm” season on the Galapagos, characterized by calm oceans and favorable diving conditions, ideal for beginners and diving with manta rays. Water temperatures range from 24-28\u00b0C, with daily air temperatures of 25-28\u00b0C and variable weather. During this period, water productivity is low, making large animals such as whale sharks less common. Hammerhead sharks do tend to still be there in large numbers. <\/p>

June to November is the “cold” season, influenced by the Humboldt Current, with colder waters (19-23\u00b0C) and more marine megafauna, such as whale sharks and hammerhead sharks. Daily air temperatures range from 21-24\u00b0C, with often gray skies and fog. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u27a4 Due to the sometimes very strong currents, only experienced divers are allowed on this liveaboard. You must hold Advanced Certification<\/strong> and have a minimum of 50 (preferably 100) logged dives<\/strong>. A nitrox certificate<\/strong> is highly recommended so you can do all the dives at Darwin & Wolf. In the past 6 months<\/strong>, prior to the liveaboard, you must have at least 1 logged dive<\/b>. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
