North Sulawesi<\/strong> is one of Indonesia’s most versatile diving regions. Off the coast lies the famous Bunaken National Park<\/strong>, located in the heart of the Coral Triangle. This park is known for its spectacular drop-offs, healthy coral gardens and a huge variety of marine life. You will find more than 390 species of fish and an impressive diversity of hard and soft corals. Large schools of reef fish, sea turtles and with some luck even a reef shark make almost every dive special. Visibility usually varies between 15 and 35 meters and conditions are generally suitable for both novice and experienced divers, although currents can sometimes be a bit stronger. <\/p>

The best time to dive in Bunaken & Manado is between April and November. This period is the dry season in Sulawesi, with the least amount of rain and the calmest sea. Visibility is also at its best during this period.
